OVERVIEW

This 1-day programme is targeted at those Senior Managers/Executives who are expected to lead an effective Health and Safety Management within their organisations with a particular emphasis on the way consortium and partnerships should function legally and contractually. Currently certificated by DTD Training but accreditation by IOSH applied for.

AIMS

To improve the knowledge and understanding of Senior Managers/Executives with regard to them becoming more able to lead and direct resources and activities in their organisations toward a safer, healthier and more productive work environment.

ASSESSMENT

There is no end of course assessment, though continuous case study work throughout the day allows delegates to evaluate their personal and company performance standards against key indicators of health and safety performance.

COURSE CONTENT

This 1-day programme examines the following key areas:

• Roles and responsibilities, duties relative to health and safety and performance appraisal
• Integrating health and safety objectives alongside other core business activities
• Strategic planning and development
• Cost v Benefit analysis
• Legal regulatory and contractual obligations

This  programme is delivered via Case Studies, DVDs and Self Assessment Exercises and is supported by a comprehensive Delegate Pack, giving delegates a first class training resource.
